This project involved the complete interior renovation of a former BI-LO to accommodate Food Lion’s prototypical new store layout. The scope included removal of existing finishes, partitions, PME, and concrete slab, followed by installation of new finishes, partitions, lighting, power, plumbing, refrigeration, and mechanical systems. Exterior upgrades consisted of new egress doors, ADA-compliant ramps on both sides of the building, fresh paint, EIFS, and metal coping at the storefront. The mezzanine was built out to include a new office, electrical room, and restroom, while the mechanical room was reconfigured to house a new generator and refrigeration racks, ensuring the facility met modern standards and operational requirements.
